Professional ExperienceKim Riley Johnson, CPA is a senior tax manager with the firm specializing in taxation of expatriates and tax controversy. As a former expat herself, Kim brings a unique global perspective to the firm. A native of Altoona, Pennsylvania, Kim, her husband Bill, and their two children spent sixteen years living abroad in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia; Paris; Brussels; and Singapore before relocating to Houston in 2010. Kim started her career in public accounting in 1992 with McGladrey & Pullen in Los Angeles. Prior to this, she served as a member of the White House staff for seven years during the Reagan and Bush Administrations. Kim was awarded a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, and is licensed to practice public accounting in both California and Texas.
